Tips on stopping pass-only offenses

I'm at a loss here. I won the CUST-84 championship last year and my defense was my key. Now, under engine 0.4.1, I can't stop offenses that just throw, literally, every down.

I have two awesome corners, rated (with my weights, but similar default ratings) 93/99 and 94/98 and a third corner rated 86 and my SS at 90 and FS at 88. It shouldn't be easy to throw on me, and my defense is very "familiar" with my cover 2/cover 3 scheme. And, I blitz only about 25% of the time, because I have a DE rated 93/99.

In my last game, a 39-20 loss, the problem was mostly my offense and too many turnovers. I didn't deserve to win based on how my offense played. I'm now 7-1. BUT -- my opponent completed nearly 45 of 90 passes for 600 yards and didn't run the ball ONCE. I had 20 tipped passes, but my only interception was on a pass to the RB that my DE picked off.

Any ideas? My opponent was completing passes in quadruple coverage and making first downs on 3rd and forever and my DBs are supposed to be good. They were superstars last year. What the heck?

Sometimes you just get **** on by the sim and there's not much you could have done. I will say though that zones still seem to be pretty awful. You may want to stick to defenses that are primarily man based for the time being.

Thanks. I think I might need a new DC next year. My playbook is pretty slim on man coverages that don't send a blitz too. I've always tried to keep the full number of plays in (30) on D. Maybe that's a mistake too.

Your playbook is only determined by your head coach.
