Injury prone

I know its been said before that a particular player cannot be "injury prone" per the game logic. Are we sure ? I have a 97 DE that has only played 400-500 snaps for 3 straight years. Now he is up for a big contact. He produces when hes on the field.

Please link him so I can see his past injuries . Most likely it is the RNG , but it could be due to the AI selecting the BPA for other positions in which a high rated player would be selected over others. Pushing his fatigue levels lower thus increasing his chance to be injured .

I believe certain players are injury prone. No clue how it’s coded but I’ve experienced it over all my teams. Some guys always seem to get hurt. I like how it works because it’s realistic. When I sign a player or trade for a guy the first thing I look at is production and injury history

Just like certain players are paper tigers, I've had DEs(with 95+ speed too before speed was scaled for weight) for example that I rated like a 98 or 99 overall and they just never did anything. Traded them away for multiple first round picks and got better production out of guys that I had rated in the 70s.

Keep pushing at it and see what you can produce. I don't even see a 'serious injury' listed on his transaction log. I don't see anything which stands out. Normal spreaded out injuries and nothing too catastrophic.

Delving deeper it looks like a combination. 1st year production and then dipped in performance (dinged with lil injuries) in combination with Lellow's paper tiger point.

2nd and 3rd years have dropped off statistically.
