If my team has tallied more "thrown ats" than the opponents QB's pass attempts in a game does that mean I had multipule defenders in the area of where the pass was attempted?
For example the opponent had attempted 37 passes and my team recorded 53 thrown ats. I possibly see it as his QB targeted recievers several times where my coverage had one or more defenders in the intended pass location.
I do not think it is a statistical anomaly. I guess am trying to understand the logic of how the "thrown at" stat is recorded?
