As a noob (hurray for season 1 down!), what can new players unfamiliar with the off season process expect? Are the draft / free agency signings real time? Do we need to be present for the draft? etc, etc. Any information would be useful. Thanks ahead of time :)

free agency is a four week process with each day giving you a time to offer contracts and bid against others. You will see some guys sign fast and some players take more time depending on how good the offer is and how many teams are bidding for his services. Once free agency is over the draft is four days as well. First round is the first day, second round second day and then split the rest in the last two days. You have an allotted time that your pick will take place so what you do is set your draft board in war room and when it's your pick whoever you have at the top of your board will get picked when your time is up. So you can essentially set a board and not be present at your pick but you can adjust it in real time when you're on the clock and change who you want up until the last seconds of your allotted time. Once the draft is over you have 3 weeks of late free agency to fill out the roster. THen training camp comes and you find out all the progression of your players. After that it's four weeks of preseason.
