Hey,
So after playing many seasons and in many leagues in MFN, I got to thinking or wondering about an issue that has been troubling me for sometime!
Example. Player Joe Schmo (a rookie drafted 2.1, regresses -5 at training camp).
So now as an owner/GM/coach, I’m a little concerned because he was a high draft pick, but that’s not important, what’s important is, is there a way for me as an owner/GM/coach to somehow prevent his regression from getting worse? Or is there a way of turning the regression into a progression?
Possible solution maybe? Maybe re-positioning him on the depth chart, that is to say, on his player card it indicates that he’s better at other positions. But whatever the case may be, I’m just wondering if it’s possible to turn a regression into a progression? And how?

Once a player moves in a direction, that's his path. But there's things you can do like dropping him to a lighter position LB to SS lets say to get a speed bump to offset the ratings decline. Or depending on what ratings fell back position switching him to his strong suits. Basically, all you can do is hone in and finagle it but, yeah, once you see a decline that's how the player is moving. Lower vol, slower rate of decline. Higher vol = sayonara if it goes bad fast, initially.
