Why 0? It recommends 5-10 although I don't really understand what it means...

Ask Seth....I have no idea what it means either but it effects down and distance somehow...setting it to 0 means your play matrix is used without adjustments

There's a forum search function you know: https://vikings.myfootballnow.com/community/3/4214?page=1#26895

i find 5 to be my sweet spot for that factor, and have seen 23 mentioned as the magic #
That stated, as it accelerates or decelerates play selection (overall), it seems to me it's best use is to "throw off" any data collection from your opponent - as any user created options override the AI, every time and all the time.
I've wasted time collecting basic data regarding GP Distance Adjustment Speed over points scored and well, it seems the lower the better - but for 0 to be too low.
Higher numbers seem to result in more plays called for a less net yardage. Again: My experience. Closer to zero seems to focus plays called relative to OFF GP slides.
Just my experiences, might not be wisdom, and likely includes at least 1 part assumptions (read as "probable bullshiite" but i will insist as "including relative chaos" lol).
I work with trends vs spreadsheet results, and always look at the big picture over the micro focus.
Find your sweet spot - you know what you watch more than we do ;)

The forum search function is so bad it's nearly unusable.

It is if there are a lot of posts that mention what you are looking for. You'll see posts from years ago but never be able to find the one made last week.
