I'm sorry but no way should someone even have the capacity to run the same highly effective blitz for an entire game. I just won a game 3-2 due to my opponent going for it on 4th downs, my defense and extreme luck thanks to the #1 blitz (don't wanna reveal it) being called for essentially every single defensive play by my opponent.
This should not be allowed. There should be some blocks in place for this kind of extreme, unfair game play.
I have a pretty good guess who your opponent was. There is only one owner I have seen call only 1 play all game (although many have called only a few).
As we enter the new season, I will once again start tweaking the game engine in MFN-1. You've already started to see some of the player request updates; the draft is also running some updates, so we'll keep an eye on that - and let me know if you have any strangeness during the draft of players not being selected as you expect.
I'll post to this thread as I push other logic updates to the engine. The first is an increase in the impact of overusing a play - I had it kind of minimally impacting in 0.4, but people's experience seems to imply that it's not having the impact that I was hoping for. I'm also adding to the play-by-play if overuse of a play caused a negative result for your team.
basically that bold worded sentence means that now the game will start punishing people to using 1 play .
The penalty for running the same play is about to be raised and tested in MFN-1. There is a pretty good debate going on how it should work in the MFN-1 forums.
