Can we cut this to 1 or 2 spins instead of the current 3? Nothing ever really happens during them after that first spin. Unless someone has a compelling counter argument I just haven't encountered yet?
I would like also like to see the late free agency cut to 1 or less. I would then take those days and add them to the regular free agency and make it so free agents were less likely to sign after the first day. Allow for more bidding wars and competition on free agents. I hate when I put an offer down on a guy and then he signs after FA 1 without giving me a chance to at least counter offer.
I guess I'm in the minority here but I like it. I Didn't have the cap to sign a lot of players before the season ended so my roster ended up being 15+ players short.... so I used this time to pick up players that I wanted from the scraps....I'm usually able to do that within 2 spins but this time around I wasn't so that extra spin really helped me
FYI, by early FA spins 4 and 5 all FAs should be willing to sign with you for league minimum contracts. No real reason to wait, since you can pick up a lot of guys on one year deals with no guaranteed commitment and then cut them post draft if you end up not needing that position.
I'd like to see the FA periods at 5 or less combined. I also think the draft is one day too long. I would also get rid of the end of season day. The off season is way too long for a game. In my leagues, every season several non playoff owners have left. It is a long wait.
I totally agree with this.. cutting down 1 sim day off late FA makes sense,Or what i would love to see is it stay the same and start Simming Sunday mornings :))
