Locking offense/defense players so they cant play on other side of ball

I was thinking about this idea in that if my other idea wouldnt work ( https://mfn1.myfootballnow.com/forums/6/1501?page=1#9083 ) how about being to locking offense/defense players where they cant play on the other side of ball?

And really if people use offense players on defense and defense players on offense to TANK then i would think if the locking system locks the offense players only on offense and defense players only on defense then it would eliminate the chances of someone tanking by putting their offense players on defense and/or defense players on offense to make their team even worse.

thanks

No, please don't do this.

I've never tanked a season in my life. There's strategy involved to fix holes by thinking outside the box.

No. This is entirely unrealistic.

Athletes can be played in any position, no matter how ill-suited to it they may be.

You are making the assumption that the only reason to switch positions is to tank. Good owners find players with attributes that can be used on either side of the ball.

To prevent tanking, we need more active league admins that monitor owners and control the leagues they run. The problem is most leagues are like the wild west with no sheriffs. Experienced owners take advantage of new owners with ridiculous trades, owners tank to get the top pick while the A.I. ruins unowned teams by cutting all the top talent so thebwaiver wire is full of elite talent.

"Good owners find players with attributes that can be used on either side of the ball."

....and something I've rarely ever thought about doing or implemented until recently in order to remain competitive/find the final frontier on competitive edges.

Think about special teams.....gunners can be offensive or defensive players so if a gunner who has to be able to tackle can be a WR for instance......take that next logical leap

I utilize WRs at the gunner position, yep. Good thinking. It'd push in slower DEs and DTs. Opening up field position, creating more chaos.

Man, ya'll just need to leave well enough alone but that got breezed by about 20 stop lights ago.

Outside-the-box is now squarely in-the-box.

Well when this happens Yes i will assume people are tanking

Player = https://having-funmyfootballnowcom.myfootballnow.com/player/2000
that player is QB#1 for the Cleveland Browns

sure league is a Roster Only League yet still i think when someone even goes as far as tell people their whole intention to getting the 1st pick in the coming draft it even makes it worse

thread = https://having-funmyfootballnowcom.myfootballnow.com/forums/1/111?page=1#142

i rather seen their only QB be the QB instead of WLB yet he has him at TE
