This is the beginning of Winston's 9th season, which is typically when RB begin to lose value.
The original USC owner took Winston with the 16th overall pick in the allocation draft. I am not sure why, since he knew he would get only three seasons out of Winston at the max. If he planned to "win now," he didn't stick around to see "now." He abandoned the team and I took it over about a month later.
